The main languages in Middle and southern Africa are English, Africaans, and Zulu.
There are also hundreds of tribal languages.
Food
This is Injera. It is a thin spongy bread. It is made of flower, water, vegetable oil, and salt. They use it as a plate then eat it after all the food is gone.
This is Garri. It is a grain that is prepared and turned to dough( I am not sure how they make it dough. I couldn't find any instructions or anything.) There are 3 ways to eat Garri -You can chew the Garri grains. Yes it is Ok to chew the grains straight out of the pack because Garri is roasted processed cassava. Chew it with groundnuts (peanuts), coconut or palm nuts. -You can add cold water, sugar, milk, groundnuts (peanuts) and drink it like cereal. -Make small lumps of it, dip in any Nigerian soup and swallow.
Religion
As you can see by this pie chart the three main religions are the Black Protestant Church, the Evangelical Protestant, and the Roman Catholic church.
Clothing
Women traditionally wore aprons with a lot of jewelry.
Men wore animal skin with blankets , and often wore necklaces.
